Faster Trolling Speed = BIGGER WAHOO

Here is what we know about catching BIGGER Wahoo. It is a fact that faster speed equals bigger Wahoo! By bigger I don’t mean you will catch more fish but that the size of the fish will be bigger. Most high-speed tips for Wahoo fishing focus on catching more fish and not really about how to catch the big one! That’s great if you are a commercial fisherman. But for the avid sport fisherman, and who isn’t, what we want and what the tournament guys are looking for is one really huge, record-breaking fish that we can post photos of on our Facebook page and brag about to buddies.
The ticket to bigger is hi-speed trolling of 14-20 knots. Our 32 oz. ‘’Banchee’’ lure is very popular for fast trolling. It will go up to 20-knot speed without a trolling weight. You just snap it on and go! Another big advantage to the ”Banchee’’ lure is that it catches other species, as well as Wahoo. This means you can put it in the water the minute you leave the dock, troll it out and then troll it while you are cruising around and troll it all the way back to the dock. This way you have something in the water at all times, increasing the chances of catching the fish of your dreams.
